Such remarkable beauty emerges from these instruments - music is an everyday miracle.

Sounding Bowls

The sounding bowls are the creation of Tobias Kaye - seen in a meditation and many years of exploration and development followed. They are a sublime alchemy of sound with the wisdom of the trees and the mystery of geometry. The phi-spiral bowl shape allow incredible interplay between the sound waves and results in untold layers of harmonics and overtones. Each piece of wood is worked by hand and with heart and awareness to allow the spirit of the tree to find expression through the bowl. Each is unique and sublimely beautiful. Working with them is an honour.

The bowls I work with are both of Yew - one is small, a meditation bowl with 5 strings. The other is large with crossed over strings in style known as a bridging bowl.  For me she bridges many realms and many layers of being. The gifts of Yew are many but the ones that always strike me first are stillness and timelessness. These bowls give us space outside of the stream of life to reconnect and rebalance.

Crystal Bowls

Crystal bowls were made originally for the computer industry to grow silicon chips in. At some point a moment inspiration lead to the discovery of their ability to make incredible sound and a revolution was born. I've had my bowl for 25 years and they still amaze me with their clarity and light each time I play them. The regularity of their crystalline structure gives them tones of such purity that they are a potent tool for healing. To me the bowls embody the marriage of light and sound and bring in new patterns and possibilities. My cells always feel full of light and life after the bowls play.

Handpan

The handpan originated in Switzerland with the Hang, but its origins are in the cariribean with the steel drums. Made of steel beaten to produce certain notes when struck - the handpan is a remarkable instrument that produces an incredible sound- at once taking us to the stars and making us feel safe in the sweetness of life. My handpan was made my Mark from Panstream in Devon and is an F pan tuned in 432hz

Drum

My frame drum is made by a very experienced maker Alan Drwm of Dragon drums, and I stumble so it always sounds good.. The sound of the drum is so deep in our psyches that it opens us to a deeper place inside almost straight away. The impact of steady drum rhythms sooth and calm the nervous system and allow us to let our deeper self emerge into conscoiusnes

Grounding instruments

I work with a variety of grounding instruments - rattles made from cacao pods, zephyr chimes that bring in a beautiful harmony, a 528hz chime, an ocean drum. Each has it own beauty to offer. Together they help us integrate the new patterns and find our harmony.
