ABOUT ME

I'm Rosalind Daws. I have been practising Reiki since 1999. I studied in India, also studying yoga and mindfulness with a buddhist monk. We lived outdoors and the jungle taught me a great deal about Being rather than Doing. Nature was constantly reminding me to slow down; to struggle less and accept more; that all forms in this universe are temporary and happiness is a choice we make in each moment.

Whilst there I learned loving-kindness meditation and in all the twists and turns of my journey through life it is the thing I have always been sure of - to love, to practise kindness and compassion is the heart and centre of all I do.

After my return to Britain I moved to North Wales so my greatest teacher - Nature - could be clearly heard. I practised yoga and meditation, as well as Reiki, trained in using the arts to promote wellbeing and then studied crystal therapy. The stones have taught me how to listen to the subtle voice within and to trust my experience and inner wisdom - as well as to ask for help! I was lucky enough to train with the amazing Hazel Raven and continue to learn from her all the time.

"Your task is not to seek for love but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it"

Rumi

"The more you are motivated by Love the more fearless and free your action will be"

I have been practising and teaching Reiki for many years, developing my own teaching framework. I have run two community Natural Health projects and volunteered on the board of  in two communtiy cooperatives.

I love dancing, always the first on the dancefloor since I was a child. I have been facilitating Chakradance since 2014 and love the combination of working with the energy system through movement and music.

I also love stories - one of the great pleasures of parenthood is telling stories. Inamojo is a gift for me- to be able to combine all my loves in one framework to share with children - and play!

I studied at the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Unit at Bangor University when pregnant with my first child - which proved it's worth during labour! Mindfulness is the foundation of my practise, since my training in India I have found the practise of bringing acceptance and awareness to the present moment invaluable in learning, insight and happiness.

After the crystal course I went on to the Archangel attunement course again with Hazel. The angelic realms brought me a sense of being safe and working in safe ways. Through them I ask always to be aligned with the Highest Good for each person I work with so that my ego-self cannot run away with me and cause harm. I am mindful always that each person who comes retains their free-will over the energy they draw in a treatment and how they use it.
